I love working with students and helping them find the internal motivation to put forth their best academic effort. I currently tutor a variety of subjects, including Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Audit Assurance, Business Accounting, middle school math, Statistics, Finance, Arithmetic, Pre-algebra, Business for high school and college, and Accounting. I also tutor these subjects for AP students and I enjoy helping students prepare for their SAT exams. Over the course of my career as a tutor, I have found it helps to bring in my real-world experience to help bring the lessons to life. This seems to be especially true for those students who have thus far been underperforming. When they are able to see how the concepts and abstract ideas in their books are put into practical daily use, it makes it easier for them to then work with those concepts in an academic setting. I also feel it is important to take the time to get to know each of my students because each student is far more than the grades they have received. They are a blend of their home life, the stories they tell themselves, and their hopes and dreams about the future. With a more complete picture of the student with whom I am working, it is easier to customize their lesson plans for their individual needs.
